George was one of five soloists who took part in ‘Folk, Form, and Fire,’ an evening showcasing all of Sergei Prokofiev’s piano concertos. George has just returned from another successful trip to Russia, this time to Irkutsk, where he performed as part of the “Stars on Baikal” concert, an event showcasing the winners of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition. Other musicians included Ganbaatar Ariunbaatar (baritone), Ionut Andrei Ionita (cello), Clara-Juma Khan (violin), and Denis Matsuev (piano).
