George Li makes his debut this month at Southbank Centre’s International Piano Series on 20 March, as part of a European recital tour. The programme features a pieces drawn from his debut album, Live at the Mariinsky, which was released on Warner Classics in autumn 2017.
The tour begins with a performance in Munich at the Prinzregententheater on 13 March, with further performances including concerts at Villa Schindler, Austria on 15 March, Schloss Elmau on 16 March and Les Pianissimes, Paris on 19 March, before IPS on 20 March.
Elsewhere this month he joins the Verbier Festival Orchestra and Gábor Takács-Nagy in a tour of China. He perform Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto No.2 in G minor in concerts in Guangzhou, Xiamen, Beijing, Xi’an and Nanjing.
