George Li and Kian Soltani travel to Bavaria to perform at the 8th Verbier Festival at Schloss Elmau from 27 November 2016, with both artists giving three performances at the festival.
On 27 November Li performs Beethoven Piano Concerto No.1 with the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra and conductor Christoph Koncz, and the following day he performs a solo recital of works by Haydn, Chopin and Prokofiev.
Soltani gives his first performance of the festival on 29 November with the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra and Gábor Takács-Nagy, and on 30 November Soltani joins Li and Ye-Eun Choi (violin), Timothy Ridout (viola) and Aaron Pilsan (piano) to perform Mendelssohn Piano Quintet No.2 in F minor. He gives a second chamber recital on 2 December, performing Schubert and Mendelssohn with Ye-Eun Choi and Frank Dupree.
