George Li begins the month with a return to China, where he makes his debut with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra on 3 November. Li joins the orchestra and conductor Wen-pin Chien at Shanghai’s Symphony Hall to perform Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No.2. He also performs the concerto in Beijing on 7 November, this time with the China Philharmonic Orchestra and Long Yu.
Following his trip to China, Li returns to the UK for his debut with the Philharmonia Orchestra, performing Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No2. once again under the baton of Long Yu. He joins the orchestra for concerts at the Bedford Corn Exchange and London’s Royal Festival Hall on 22 and 23 November.
